When Sister Marilyn Smith fails to turn up for work, her patients are worried. Evelyn Shiers, her nosy neighbour, is anxious too. Later that afternoon, the police find her dead in the bedroom lying spread-eagled across the bed. She is provocatively dressed and elaborately made-up.
