People and the Natural Environment

This book concentrates on physical structures and processes in the context of environmental hazards, the need for environmental management and the different opportunities generated by various types of landscape. It is structured in double-page spreads, each examining a key concept of environmental geography. Case studies are used extensively. It can be used independently or with the other "Concepts in Geography" titles to form a complete course for GCSE geography. An important theme running through these titles is the relationships and interactions between people and their environments.
