West with the Night

This is a travel autobiography of a woman brought up in the Africa of the early 1900s, who spent her childhood playing with Nandi children, hunting with warriors and running wild. In 1936 she made world headlines by becoming the first person to fly solo across the Atlantic from east to west. She was also a race-horse trainer and legendary beauty.
