This is the first textbook devoted exclusively to the law on internal trade union affairs in Ireland. It charts the law governing admission to trade unions, expulsion and discipline of trade union members, and democracy within trade unions.
The focus is upon the rights of trade union members, and the ways in which union action is constrained. Where appropriate, reference is made to the rules which unions currently apply and model rules are suggested.
