The Cotswold market town of Stroud, once famed for its cloth making, has been transformed into a thriving hub of independent shops and buzzing cafes. Local photographer, Daniel Mace has grown up here and knows the town's streets and squares, its lanes and alleyways. Charged with capturing the essence of Stroud, he has turned his camera on its inhabitants, the people who make the town what it is today. These are the people you'll find in these pages - the shop-keepers, school-teachers, businessmen and women, nurses, buskers, restaurant owners, students, and street performers, all of them taking pleasure in being a part of this Gloucestershire town and sharing their stories.
