Urinary Tract Disease of Dogs and Cats

Urinary tract disorders are the most common problems in small animals. One of every two dogs and cats will experience one or more episodes of urinary tract disease in its lifetime. This book places an emphasis on clinical applicability. The book is divided into eight sections: the first provides an overview of the urinary tract, including gross and microscopic anatomy and physiology; Section Two focuses on diagnostic methods; and the remainder of the book concerns specific problems, including urinary tract and prostatic infections, stone disease and neoplasia. Feline urologic syndrome, a unique entity is featured in a separate part.
