Circadian Hikes

I love to hike and the poems in »Circadian Hikes« are arranged in a circle: night, dawn, noon and evening. I feel that much in nature and life goes in cycles:
a constant repetition symbolizing a dichotomy between standstill and change, being and becoming.

I am a castle by the sea
I have everything inside of me
Every room another mood
I am lit up, cellar to roof

So many doors and hiding places
So many windows and open spaces

Sometimes, storms rattle outside
Raindrops knock and sunbeams shine
I commune with them and stand
As the castle that I am
