To be Alive

This short book records the effects on a woman's life of a violent attack by an intruder. The necessary facts of the crime are told, including the trial and a conviction. But the fuller story is of the days and years that follow. Healing and despair, living and courage, are the implicit subjects of this straightforward narrative, written under a pseudonym. The book is published by the HELP Foundation (in association with Craig Potton Publishing) to raise funds for their work in this area.
