Stairway to Health

The purpose of this book is to provide an introduction to health education for students of 14 to 16 years of age. The topics covered include: substance use and misuse; sex education; family life education; safety; exercise; food and nutrition; personal hygiene; health; and the environment. It is designed to meet the requirements of the National Curriculum cross-curricular theme Health education at key stage four or equivalent. The book includes detailed lesson plans and notes for 25 lessons, and photocopiable information and worksheets for students, along with ideas for follow-up activities.
