Michael Douglas

The eldest son of the actor Kirk Douglas, Michael Douglas suffered the trauma of his parent's divorce, living in New York with his mother and spending holidays with Kirk in Hollywood. Two half-brothers from Kirk's second marriage and his brother Joel, make, with Michael, the Douglas dynasty. Four years on TV's "Streets of San Francisco" established Michael in the profession and in the 20 years since then he has become recognized as one of the most attractive and commercial of stars. Films like "Romancing the Stone", "Wall Street" and "Fatal Attraction" were major commercial successes.
