Ro, ro, the rattlin' bog, the bog down in the valley-o! In an Irish peat bog, a rattlin' (Irish slang for "wonderful") tree contains a rattlin' nest, which contains a rattlin' egg, which contains a rattlin' bird . . . all the way down to a seed of a brand-new rattlin' tree. The Speks is Ireland's first traditional Irish music band for kids and their families. The six members, Quince, Naymon, Tommo, Pete, Ed, and Rafferty, live on a magical island off the coast of County Clare, Ireland. It's called Glasses Island because everybody wears glasses there. The lads love singing, dancing, and playing music. Their motto is: "Sing along and sing aloud!".
