This workbook and the Children's Reading Bible by the same author are closely coordinated to each other. Key words and key sentences as well as many illustrations form the bridge between a child's reading, comprehension and discussing of the topics. Teachers will find a wealth of neatly arranged orientations of the content and context of the most important stories in the Bible, and of the didactic and methodological approaches to their application in class. The stories are introduced though the use of frame narratives. Materials for a creative approach, including original craft materials and ideas for playing or acting out the stories complement the texts. Riddles and fill-in-the-blank texts also increase the children's understanding of the texts.
