In the Little Book of Celtic Wisdom, the authors have woven together some of the threads which pattern the Celtic loom of existence. This tapestry explores five dimensions, drawing upon some of the names the ancient Celts gave to the worlds beyond earthly existence. For the Celts, there was no separation between life and experience, between the world of humanity and that of the spirits and creatures, or between nature and the subtle process of creation. The nature of Celtic writing is visionary and the language reflects this in its complex rhythms and brilliant imagery. The material selected here is drawn from ancient and modern Celtic sources.
