Active noise control (ANC) deals with the problem of noise in a communication system by introducing a canceling "anti--noise" wave through an appropriate array of secondary sources. ANC is an effective way to weaken noise that is very difficult expensive to control using passive means. ANC has widespread applications in manufacturing, industrial operations, and consumer products. This book will be a valuable resource for the many industrial companies and universities engaged in ANC research.
