Instrumental Classical Music of India

Classical music has been an ancient tradition in India. It consists of a system of raags, which provides a solid foundation for any music composer to compose their music. For music enthusiasts, this ancient knowledge and tradition is something to be proud of, something to be learned from and practice to create great music compositions. The reason of writing this book is to impart basic and clear understanding of the fundamentals of India's classical music through songs composed by great musicians who devoted their life to the classical music and composed these songs. In order to learn from these great composers, we study the songs they have created. Through these songs we learn the fundamentals of classical music.
