Forests of Hope

Published to coincide with the World Forests Congress in October 1997, this work aims to document the problems facing the world's forests and the evidence that these problems can be overcome. It focuses on forests that are being conserved and tells the stories of individuals and communities from around the world who have integrated their lives with the forests they are maintaining.
