The complementarity of IT and organizational processes demands that IT and business managers incorporate facilitative techniques related to the management of change discipline. However, management of change in the context of technology-driven organizational change is usually focused on technology rather than on the people concerned. On the basis of theoretical framework and empirical analysis, the hor proposes a more pragmatic, structured approach to the management of change discipline. The empirical findings emphasize the role of management of change and suggest the use of a more structured approach in organizational changes enabled by IT-initiatives.
