Towards New Horizons in Primate Toxicology

Nonhuman primates are gaining increasing importance as animal model for toxicology investigations and for the study of human physiology. The value and suitability of primate models is not only determined by the choice of species but also by the quality of the animals and by the study techniques that are being used.

This book provides expert contributions on selected important fields of primate toxicology and is based upon contributions and presentations on the occasion of the 12th Covance Primate Symposium that was held in February 2000 in Münster.
