Fundamentals of Dressage

This book presents guidelines for the correct education of horses to the level of Grand Prix dressage. With the emphasis firmly on developing the natural aptitude of the horse through a thorough understanding of movement, the subjects covered include rhythm, speed, carriage and equilibrium, straightness, contact and rein tension, impulsion and collection, as well as the position of the rider, the choice of horse and corrective work.
