Lucy Kirk has just published her career memoir--We Already Have a Woman We Like, My Life in the CIA--where she discusses the challenges she faced as a female case officer in the CIA's Directorate of Operations. She was one of a handful of female operations officers admitted in the late 1960s. Over the next three decades, she served as a case officer and ultimately Chief of Station, working in assignments in the U.S. and abroad.
