Activity Based Costing in Hospitals

Examines current costing practice in the NHS and assesses the potential of activity based costing (ABC) in hospitals. This report argues that aspects of ABC are particularly suited to the hospital environment. It also highlights the likely advantages and difficulties of ABC implementation.
