This work introduces US-based information network users and managers to networking developments in Europe, and describes the state of the art in US networking structures for international network users. Covered are the UK, France, Switzerland, Italy, Germany, Eastern Europe, Spain, Scandanavia, Turkey, Greece, Bulgaria and Romania. In the US, academic libraries and their association with the Internet are discussed, along with treatments of public libraries, law libraries, scientific communications and the corporate and government sectors.
