One of the "Cultural Studies" series, this book examines the art of amateur photography as a social practice, involving a large percentage of the population. The book looks at the reasons we take photographs, and what we feel about the results. It includes a case study of "Amateur Photographer" magazine, as well as using photographs from a number of different albums.
