Rachel Kelly was educated at St Paul's Girls' School and then at Oxford University, where she read Modern History. She is also the author of Black Rainbow: How Words Healed Me - My Journey Through Depression, for which she created the Black Rainbow app and which won the Spear's Best First Book Award, and Walking on Sunshine: 52 Small Steps to Happiness. Rachel also runs poetry workshops for mental health charities and in prisons.
