The Game of Draw Poker

Draw poker is the oldest form of poker and all other styles, including seven-card stud and Texas hold 'em, derive from this original game. With the introduction of the 52-card English deck in the mid nineteenth century, the game of draw poker became formalized, with accepted rules of play and variations.
