Environmental information and education

Focusing on the social work that librarians carry out in the political and social context of human life, this work dialogues with the environmental scenario where it transcribes the importance of this professional in dealing with Environmental Information (EI) and Environmental Education (EE) in a dignified manner and free from external opinions. This research arose from the author's desire to talk about environmental issues in a clear and precise way, giving nuances of how librarians can act in the face of environmental issues. It is hoped that at the end of the reading it will be possible to open up new mindsets with regard to environmental issues and the value of information in our daily lives.
