This guide gives answers to the key questions about over 600 jobs: what the job actually involves, what qualifications are needed, whether any special skills or personal qualities are necessary, and where one can find out more. It also includes special notes for adult entrants for every job. "Jobfile" is a reference handbook for careers teachers, students and their parents. It originated as part of the computer-assisted career system JIIG-CAL, now used in most schools in the UK. The JIIG-CAL system has now been extended to adult job guidance.
