Looking Forward

This book includes fifteen essays written recently for a column in "Works in Progress", a progressive monthly newspaper published in Olympia, Washington. These essays cover a wide range of topics: the political and economic nature of socialism, Donald Trump and fascism, the political origins of "Works in Progress", how to combat Trumpism in the future, the movie "Imperium" along with an understanding of terrorism and fascism, the case for anti-communism, the ancient Chinese text The Art of War, and the ghost of Marxism. Four additional political essays are given as appendices.
