Intended more as a description of current practice in periodontics rather than a manual of technique, this book aims to provide the concepts on which good clinical judgement is based. While the theme and general structure of this third edition remain unaltered, the text has been extensively revised and augmented to convey the continuing development of the science and art of periodontal practice. This concise text is written for the undergraduate, to complement didactic teaching and clinical practice, as well as the postgraduate needing to update basic knowledge or obtain a concise overview of clinical periodontology prior to further study.
