JCT: Construction Management Agreement

Appropriate: where a Construction Manager is to manage the project on behalf of the Client; and where the Client is to enter into direct separate trade contracts using the Construction Management Trade Contract (CM/TC) or a special Trade Contract. Can be used: where the works are to be carried out in sections.
