Deeper Life

Between mid-September and early November 1988 the author visited the Deeper Christian Life Church in Lagos, joined in worship, studied the Bible in the weekly Bible class and joined the church leaders in their zonal meetings. In order to obtain a better idea of the work of the church, he also travelled to other missions in Nigeria, in the states of Borno, Kano, Imo and Bendel. As the author became more involved, he was allowed to integrate into other sections of the Church, especially the section concerned with inter-church relations, the "Deeper Christian Life Ministry". This is an account of his travels with the church, his view of their work, and his occasional criticisms.
