One of a series of regularly updated Study Texts providing coverage of the examinations of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA), this workbook covers the entire syllabus and includes numerous questions from past examinations with full suggested solutions. This study text has been revised to meet the full requirements of the 1990 course and is designed primarily for students taking Part 4 of the ICSA examinations but it is likely to be of value to anyone learning about the aspects of information systems, computer systems and office automation systems. It includes developments in management information systems, management and financial aspects, technical features of system design issues and emerging issues in systems management such as data bases, distributed processing, fourth generation languages and prototyping. Information is not given on computer hardware although technical descriptions are given where they are likely to be necessary for the examination.
