Mapping the Unknown: towards a New World Order

This work addresses the problems, obstacles and opportunities of "order" presented by the end of the Cold War. Contributors include Francis Heisbourg, Susan Strange, Lawrence Freedman and Olara Otunnu. They discuss the implications of the new global environment and suggest remedial measures to deal with the collapse of communism and the proliferation of ethnically-based nationalism.
