Hossa ja Kylmaeluoma - guide + map

Hossa's first inhabitants arrived, attracted by game, fish and good waterways. Today's hikers seek peace and experiences from old taiga forests, clear waters and magnificent ridges. There are 150 kilometers of marked routes in Hossa and more than 90 kilometers in Kylmlauoma. Along them are deserted huts, homes, sheds, kitchen sheds and dozens of campfire sites.



Camping services also extend beyond the national park and camping area. The Itaeraja hiking route goes from Kainuu Kairoka villages in Viana Karelia to the rock paintings of Vaerikallio.
