The life story of a true master horseman
If ever the phrase master horseman was to apply to anyone, it would apply to John Honeyball. He was born into a middle class family in Croydon which had no connections with anything equine. Yet from the earliest age - gee-gee was the word that he spoke - he was drawn into the world of horses.
This short book tells the story of his love affair with horses - and of their love and respect for him. From learning to ride on a farm in East Grinstead, he ended up being a Master of Hounds and one of the leading show judges in the country. Along the way it was Honeyball who transformed that famous racehorse The Dikler into the winner that he became.
This a book for people who love horses and their way of life. It also tells of a different, but not so long ago, world.
