Imaging: South African Scrapbook

This book examines South Africa's history through the accumulated experiences of an imagined African family. Their scrapbook is a collection of photographs, letters and documents which span three generations and look into the future. The book encourages students to consider the South African problem in terms of complex personal stories which prevent simplistic judgements, and is designed to prove of interest to pupils of drama, English and humanities at Key Stage 3.
