Colleen has always had a heart for children, which only strengthened through her time as a pediatric hospice nurse. While starting a donation-based program for her local school system, offering hygiene items for free, she found a love for giving back to the children living in poverty, similar to her younger self. However, it wasn't until her 30's she decided to shake things up and start writing.
