Martin Hintz and Pam Percy have collectively authored numerous books and articles on travel, geography, and food, including Globe Pequot's Fun with the Family Wisconsin and Wisconsin Cheese: A Cookbook and Guide to the Cheeses of Wisconsin. Martin has been a travel writer for three decades, with more than sixty books and hundreds of magazine and newspaper articles to his credit. His resume includes several entries in Children's Press's America the Beautiful and Enchantment of the World series, writing about many states and countries. Pam has written two books on chickens-The Complete Chicken and The Field Guide to Chickens (both Voyageur Publishing). They live on a five-acre "farmette" on Milwaukee's North Side.
