Training Fishermen at Sea

The purpose of this manual, a title in the FAO Fishing Manual series, is to provide a guide for training fishermen on board training vessels of 100 to 200 GT (except engine-room peronnel). It is based on the experience of an FAO expert serving as a master fisherman instructor on a fishery training project. It is assumed that most of the information provided in the manual is rlevant to any fishery training on board a training vessel. It is aimed at the instructor and his crew, as well as those responsible for designing the vessel and its operation as a training aid. The manual includes humorous illustrations.
