This is a sequel to "Seasons Of My Life", which describes Hannah Hauxwell's life as a one-woman farmer on a remote Pennine farm. Having been persuaded to exchange her life of toil on Low Birk Hatt Farm for Belle Vue Cottage in the nearby village of Cotherstone, and thus liberated from the harshness and isolation of her previous existence, she now brings her story up-to-date. The book tells of her anguish at leaving the farm and of how she is coping with her new life and the celebrity status thrust upon her. She also reminisces about her past, uncovering a wealth of detail and providing insights into life in the remote and beautiful dales.
