Trumpeter's Guide to Orchestral Excerpts

Intended as an aid to the training of trumpet players, this is a bibliography of orchestral trumpet literature. It has increased considerably since the first edition was published in 1977 - from 1000 excerpts in 59 volumes to over 1700 excerpts in 160 volumes. Although the increase in the number of volumes and excerpts is in the area of older works in the public domain, excerpts from works written since 1900 have increased also.
