As my wife, first-born son, and I planned to move to a new city, my intuition tested me in significant ways. It warned me something was coming. I wasn't sure exactly what, but I grew exceedingly concerned. It wasn't long before tragedy struck. What followed was a war we never could have imagined. A difficult and unique journey was upon us, full of traumatic battles, some lost and others won. With no blueprint for these battles, I struggled mightily to hold it all together. In my darkest moments, I was led to use one of my most natural gifts in order to dive deep and explore the emotional side of what might have been, so that I could fully appreciate what actually was. This intensely emotional voyage was life-changing, as a new perspective granted me not only a glimpse into the past, but a mystical moment with someone who I never got the chance to know. Through this experience I gained strength from faith, perseverance from hope, and humility from gratitude. This is the story of The Other Boy.

M. Stephens Hall developed a deep imagination at a very young age. He often visited fantastic worlds where he unearthed profound possibilities. Although he didn't write early in life, he found plenty of creative outlets through which to express himself. He later received his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Mississippi College, and has spent over twenty years using his creativity and problem-solving skills in software development. As his intuition matured, M. Stephens began writing more frequently and with more purpose, often early in the morning before work. Poetry served him a healing mechanism during difficult times and offered a gateway into writing books. M. Stephens enjoys providing and caring for his family, exercising, adventuring, and of course, writing.
