On Singers and Singing

A collection of the lectures given in 1913 and 1914 by the composer, singer and conductor, Reynaldo Hahn (1847-1947), whose circle included Ravel, Proust, Faure and Sarah Bernhardt. During his lifetime he was famous for his operas, concertos, quartets and ballet music. The lectures cover such topics as "Why do we sing?", "Some causes of the decline of singing" and "How to move an audience".
