Hennig has a master's degree in Engineering from the University of Dresden, and the title of Expert for International Valuation of Real Estate from European Business School, Oestrich-Winkel. He is a board member of the Federal Association of Publicly Appointed, Sworn and Qualified Experts e.V. (BVS); a member of the German Property Federation (ZIA) working group 'Accounting and Valuation'; and a member of the Tangible Assets Board of the International Valuation Standards Council (IVSC).
