Parul Gupta is a faculty of law at the Management Development Institute (MDI),Gurgaon in India. She has been teaching law courses to management students for the last 15years. Before joining MDI, she served at the Army Institute of Management & Technology, Greater Noida, for more than a decade. Her special expertise lies in labor law, business law, and environmental law. She is a visiting faculty of various Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs), the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), New Delhi, and the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi), delivering courses on business and corporate laws, and employment law. She has been the program director and trainer of a management training program for the judicial officers of the state of Uttar Pradesh and for court managers, training more than 1,000 judicial officers within a span of three years. In 2012, she was awarded the prestigious Vice Chief's Commendation Card by the Western Command of the Indian Army for her significant contribution to the growth of the institute and commitment to work. Dr. Gupta has also imparted training to executives of various public sector units, such as Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), and National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC). She has authored three books and a number of case studies. Her research interest lies in corporate environmental responsibility, social entrepreneurship, public policy, and corporate governance. Dr. Gupta writes regularly in journals of repute and has written a number of research articles in various journals of international repute.
