Prosodie und Sprachproduktion

The subject of the volume is the presentation of a cognitively oriented model of the generation of prosodic features and constituents and their computer-linguistic implementation in the framework of a language production system. The study develops feature-based representations for prosodic features, constituents, and rules (e.g. focus-accent imaging, tonal planning). Prosodic processes are specified generating prosodic features and structures with relation to semantic, syntactic, lexical, and phonological knowledge and mapping them onto phonetic parameters. Based on psycholinguistic findings, prosodic processes are allocated to different levels of language production.
 
Gegenstand des Bandes ist der Entwurf eines kognitiv orientierten Modells zur Generierung prosodischer Merkmale und Konstituenten und deren computerlinguistische Umsetzung im Rahmen eines Sprachproduktionssystems. Es werden merkmalsbasierte Repräsentationen für prosodische Merkmale, Konstituenten und Regeln (z.B. Fokus-Akzent-Abbildung, tonale Planung) entwickelt. Prosodische Prozesse werden spezifiziert, die in Bezug auf semantisches, syntaktisches, lexikalisches und phonologisches Wissen prosodische Merkmale und Strukturen generieren und auf phonetische Parameter abbilden. Prosodische Prozesse werden basierend auf psycholinguistischen Befunden einzelnen Ebenen der Sprachproduktion zugeordnet.
