Since more than a decade, organ transplantation has become more or less practical routine in many countries. The idea and certain beliefs about the use of bodily materials are very controversy discussed among the society, and they are strongly linked to social and cultural believes. Several models have been set up, also in Europe. Spain has the most successful transplantation law worldwide, followed by Portugal. In this volume, three European countries demonstrate and discuss the pros and cons of their different systems.
