Anne Holmen is Professor and Head of the Centre for Internationalisation and Parallel Language Use, University of Copenhagen, Denmark. She took part in the first longitudinal Danish study on the development of bilingualism in school-age children (the Koege-project) and in a number of Nordic collaborative projects, including school-related projects in Greenland.
Jens Normann Jorgensen passed away on 29 May 2013. He was a professor at the Lanchart Centre at University of Copenhagen. As a linguist, he had a strong interest in sociolinguistics, multilingualism and social inequality. His work includes research in very diverse fields, such as dialectology, distributive sociolinguistics, educational linguistics, linguistic ethnography, and language ideology. His influential ideas of languaging and polylingualism took form through his longitudinal studies of language variation and change among multilingual young people in Denmark.
