Philip's Multiscale Britain and Ireland 2000

Created from Philip's digital database, this latest edition of the multi-scale atlas covers all of Ireland at ten miles to one inch, with town plans of Belfast, Cork, Dublin, and Londonderry. One hundred and thirteen pages of computer-generated mapping cover Britain at four miles to one inch. A further 33 pages of extra-detailed mapping at two miles to one inch are designed to guide motorists through complex urban areas. Along with route-planning guides, the atlas contains 60 town and city plans which highlight one-way streets, car parks, pedestrian areas, public buildings and tourist destinations. Other features include restricted motorway junction information, a distances table and multi-language road map symbols.
