Net Work Exercises

This book explains the fundamentals of netmaking. It describes how to hand braid nets, how to cut and clean machine-made netting and covers the main knots and hitches used in net work. It also covers such areas as the hanging of netting to ropes and practice in netmaking and repair. The book also includes a number of practical exercises (with correct answers) and should, therefore, be of used to those training in this vital aspect of commercial fisheries. The author has also written "How to Make and Set Nets".
